Jen

What's your story? Well, I'm a photographer, obviously. I'm a goofball. I love my husband and dogs. I'm a feminist. I'm doing this project so that women talk about body positivity. If we all stopped hating our bodies, we'd have time for so many awesome things!!!

I'm using images of myself at different sizes. My weight has bounced up and down for years. I'm always losing and gaining the same 20 pounds. And it's based on if I'm drinking wine. It's been a struggle to quit drinking. But I'm getting there!

I'm learning to be kind to myself. Like right now, all my jeans are too tight. So I bought some leggings. I'll lose the weight when I give up wine. And a size 18 is still fat. I'm not going on any diets or joining a gym. I'll give up wine and start going for walks on days I'm working from home.

What makes you nervous about having your portrait taken? I do not know how to fake smile, so I always look extra goofy. I don't like my double chin. No one likes their double chins. So I'm going to have a few women photographers take my portrait. I can't ask women to go out of their comfort zones if I don't do the same.

Can I share some of your images? I guess. LOL

What do you love doing that makes you feel kick ass? Photography.

What inspired your portraits? Iris Apfel.

What bad ass women inspire you? Tina Fey, Amy Sedaris, Iris Apfel, Nina Simone, Dolly Parton, PJ Harvey

Any Other Comments? I feel weird about including myself in this project.
